so Germany falls 1 goal short of achieving European glory. i think it is safe to say as a fan of Germany and as an Arsenal fan that it is time for Jens Lehman to part ways as a starting keeper. i think next season he will join a team only to be a back up and has a lot to offer as a mentor. however his lack of acceleration and vulnerability to letting in the "soft" goal are signs that his starting days are behind him. congratulations to Spain and i was glad to hear that only one fan lost his life during the riots.
in other news, sources say Jason Smith is on his way to becoming a Buffalo Sabres. Slap a C on his chest for now his third straight team. the man has all the experience that we are looking for in a D man. he doesn't have to be our best blue-liner. i look for him and Spacek to be a solid line and Tallinder and Lydman to have rebound seasons. sorry Paetsch, but i think Weber and Sekera showed great promise and i would love to see those two work and grow together during the season.
peace.
